Pubs and their customers have a long history of doing daft things to help
others, whether it be sitting in a bath of baked beans or dressing up as nun and
performing a drunken version of the sound of music. If enough people get together to raise
funds - significant figures can be achieved. If everybody who used the Fat Badgers Web
Site gave just One Pound - we could make a huge difference. We intend to make regular
donations to worthwhile causes, with a little help from our friends. We've set up a bank
account where you can make any donation - as long as it's cash ! Full details of the
projects that we sponsor can be found below. If you want to do something silly for charity

a Fat Badger ! - For our first Charity fundraising venture - Fat Badger Kilo has
agreed to become a Soldier Badger at Aldershot Barracks - Home of the British Army. This
may well involve assault courses and eating worms and snails but as of yet - he has not
confirmed whether he is prepared to be seen wearing green.
The event, to be held in June 2001 will include taking part in a Military Drill, taking
on the Royal Logistic Corps Assault Course and some Mine Clearing ! Fat Badger Kilo has
presumably been asked to take part for his tunnelling expertise. Mines are probably much
easier to diffuse from underneath. Maybe that's where the on-off switch is ?
