Arsène Wenger - What a bad sportsman.

I can't believe that they bother to interview this plonker at the end of a game, because you know full well that he's going to come up with a pile of absolute crap every time he speaks.

He NEVER sees any of the errors/mistakes/cheating that his own side are responsible for but if any opposition incur the slightest of possible fouls, then they are the son of Satan in his deluded eyes.

He doesn't have an honest bone in his body (when he speaks - he might be a very nice person socially, although he is french. But when he speaks to the media, he is an absolute Arse).

Wenger's sides are often criticised for their indiscipline, yet he does nothing but rant about everybody else's bad behaviour against his teams.

He is well known for his rivalry with Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, in 2004 Wenger was fined £15,000 for calling United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy "a cheat" in a post-match television interview. Wenger has often been criticised by other Premiership managers for not fielding many English players, but that is his choice as is his constant controversial statements about referees after matches in which decisions did not go his team's way. What is not o.k. is for him to criticise other teams/managers/players about they way they play the game when it is no different to the way his teams play.

In 2008 his Arsenal team were not as good as they had been in recent years and lost to newly promoted Stoke City, Wenger complained to the media - not in a post match interview but after he'd had time to think, that the Stoke City players were intentionally trying to physically injure his players - despite Arsenal being the team who had a player sent off for elbowing the Stoke Goalkeeper in the throat. Two weeks later, his side lose 3-0 to Manchester City and he claims in the post match interview that the score flattered Man City - the facts were that Man City had another three chances cleared off the line/open goals missed and a perfectly good goal disallowed for offside - the score should have been 6-1
