Surrounded by 'Moor Wood' with a car park on the opposite side of the lane, the Woodcock will appear to be full and that's because it is a small place with very low well worn beams. The woodcock does though, ooze quality. With fine food, excellent ales and a good wine list, you can't go wrong, even the ice bucket & spoon are made from silver. Friendly service and comfortable seating around a hop covered inglenook only add to the atmosphere. |
