Dating from 1897, Fanny's Ale & Cider House was originally a haberdashery selling wool from the mills. After changing use to pet shop and then off-licence the building then opened as a fully licensed pub. The lounge is Gas Lit so you may need a torch until your eyes adjust to the dim light but this is all part of the charm of a great little pub with No Juke Box, No Pub Quizzes and No Fruit Machines. Located on the main road through Shipley, Fanny's is just a short distance from
Saltaire World Heritage site and as the name suggests - the Ales are excellent. |
